Rec Travel

PAYSO Rec Traveling soccer is played in congruence with Madison Area Youth Soccer Assocation to provide a platform for kids to learn and grow playing the game of soccer. You will be given the opportunity to play against other communities at the rec level while gaining valuable playing experience. Our goal is to engage and teach kids how to play the game of soccer.

Grades/ Ages

Rec Traveling soccer is geared for grades 3rd to 8th.

When

Practice generally starts in August with games in Sept and Oct for the fall season. Spring season generally begins in March/ April with games being played in April, May & June (dependent on weather)

Where

PAYSO is run through our soccer facilities at Valley View Park in Poynette.

Practices

Teams practice 2-3 times per week and times will be determined by the head coach.

Games

Teams will play 8 regular season games over the course of two months. Of the 8 games played 4 will be in Poynette at Valley View and 4 will be played at a neighboring community. Teams may participate in a tournament at the coaches and parent's agreement.

Uniforms

Club jerseys are required and may be purchased through the form sent out by your head coach. Each child will be required to wear plain black shorts along with plain black socks.

Extra Costs

Expect the Coach to collect funds to cover tournament entry fees and Jersey costs if necessary.

Details: Full seasons run Fall to spring. When registering for half season select the season in which you child will be participating.
